About me,
Dani Devereux
I believe in the transformative power of art, and bring that to my community through uniquely designed workshops and my ceremony practise.
I have created art and written stories for as long as I have been on this dear old planet, and have offered up my focus for the last 20 years to the feature animation and film industry, working as a creative artist and matte painter on some huge movie titles, such as “Spiderman: Across the Spiderverse” , Guillermo Del Toro’s “Pinocchio” and “The Shape of Water” - plus many, many more! I have been a speaker at Toronto Animation Arts Festival International, and have been lucky enough to teach at OCAD University, where I created fun & heart-lead teaching sessions to promote a “production ready” approach to concept art.
I enjoy using all mediums to express myself and to help others! Mostly my art for film and background design has been digital, but lately I have also been creating through polaroid emulsion, embroidery and sculpture. It really depends on whatever the idea calls for, and flexibility on the approach is key.
As a leader in the animation field, I have been fortunate enough to speak on art in a technological landscape - but in my spare time, I like to unite community through art practise and ceremony. As a qualified life-cycle celebrant, I create meaningful wedding ceremony for folk who like to get married outside, and tell their story amongst nature. Surrounded by earth’s most creative surroundings! I enjoy creating ritual elements that suit my couple’s needs - telling their love story in a creative fashion, with delicate care - and allowing them to be authentic to their unique vision of love. I also provide ceremony for other rites of passage too, and help folks find the right words to honour whatever it is they’d like to create space for.
I am going to be hosting a series of workshops that unite art and mindfulness as an aide to my local community towards the end of 2025, and will be posting updates here. Any upcoming exhibitions of my work will also be posted here so you can follow along!

Art Workshops
I collaborate with various art/wellness studios, partners and workplaces locally to create highly creative workshops, designed to escape you into a state of play, imagination and wonder! If you would like to talk more about what I can bring to your event space/workplace/setting - then please reach out to me! I specialise in most traditional mediums, digital art, storytelling and poetry.

Ceremony
If you need a ceremony venue, you can book me through Meadowcroft Estate, where they have the most outstanding grounds to get married on! If you would like to book me, and be amongst some of the most beautiful surroundings in Rural Ontario for your nuptials, then please head to the affiliate link below. My workshops will vary, depending on where I am located, the time required, and who I am working with. Generally if it’s a community aide on my own turf, I will do an honour system and create a pay as you can afford deal or ask for a donation to a local charity. It’s all dependent on where/who/what is happening.
